We sewed simple outdoor shorts in spring. Within a week they all left our store and you already run around the mountains in them. But the shorts from the Poutnik collection are something else. Simply a design item for techwear enthusiasts. Come and see!
In our blog, we have unfairly neglected the Poutnik collection. Yet this is where years of experience in crafting the finest materials available for outdoor Tilak (function comes first here, too), laboriously crafted technical details, a subtle colour palette and cuts inspired by the culture (and numerous comments) of our Japanese friends come together. So if you want to feel as comfortable in the valleys as you do in the mountains, Poutnik may be just the thing for you.
And since it's summer, we decided to make Quest shorts from the Poutnik collection, in four colours - black, khaki, dark blue and bronze brown.
The first look at the shorts may raise a few eyebrows. An unusual design, lots of pockets and they strike one as very relaxed and... airy? Well that's exactly the point!
The premium material developed and manufactured in the USA (99% polyamide, 1% elastane) is highly breathable, strong and does not stick to the body. We've shaped it into baggy shorts - the result is virtually unrestricted airflow and freedom of movement in shorts that also have excellent utility value thanks to the many pockets.
Speaking of pockets - let's take a closer look. On the shorts you will find two classic open pockets on the sides, one on the back just below the Poutnik logo and two more pockets on the thighs, this time covered by a flap. These also have smaller pockets hidden inside. This solution allows you to efficiently organize your belongings and safely store mobile phones, cash, ID cards, etc.

The inside of all the pockets are made of strong and breathable mesh, which further helps with ventilation. Just as we've cut the shorts for maximum looseness and comfort, we've followed this philosophy with the pockets. They are easy to use, with no zippers or other fastenings.
On the other hand, the fastening of the shorts is classically zip and button, as you are used to from other models. The shorts include an integrated belt with a sliding loop for managing the end of the belt. The belt can be easily exchanged.
